Publication - Gla's paper on Euglena metabolism

Great to see Gla's new paper out "Euglena Central Metabolic Pathways and Their Subcellular Locations". This is based on predicting the locations using certain programs, using proteomic data and using some historic research, going back to the 1940's. It shows that Euglena doesn't need its chloroplast as every metabolic pathway in the chloroplast is also present somewhere else in the cell - except photosynthesis!
